So many places to send the publicity, in so many different forms. I settled on sending out the same emailable publicity to all the partner and supporting organizations, with links to extras like graphics and for-print newsletters and instructions for some likely modifications. In retrospect it may have been too much (and therefore confusing). At least it was done.
But then I discovered (within minutes after sending out the publicity to 2 dozen organizations) that I had gotten the time wrong on one of the events. I waited a full day though before sending a correction and sure enough one of the library boards decided they needed another month to decide whether to approved our use of the meeting room. So I was able to send a single correction notice for the two events. So only mildly embarrassing.
I also worked up this new graphic to offer for use in newsletters, in lieu of the rather goofy photo by the lake. Not a clear message, but it’s eye-catching. I welcome comments.
