Maybe some day a viable alternative currency could arise, but if this plane (CGB) is going to fly, it needs to use dollars.

Yes! Alternate currencies!

Not just creating and printing money, though. Making an alternate currency. Some communities already have.

The CGB could, eventually, do something about this.
