I looks like BBVA Compass didn't stop at closing my accounts, but apparently they also filed a false police report, falsely accusing me of trespassing.  Notably, I just got the "WARNING" citation last week and I was found guilty of trespassing by the Kingman (AZ) police department because the bankers said so.

It motivated me to start a new blog about BBVA Compass and the LONG story is at http://liarsandcheats.info/bbv…..nts/about/

However, I'm fully aware that all the big banks operate like BBVA Compass and I focus on resistance:

People should stop paying the big commercial banks if they're (near) judgment-proof or they should move their funds to a COMMUNITY BANK as outlined at http://moveyourmoney.info/

My closest community bank is over 200 miles away …

That's dastardly. They should be required to give 30 days notice.

I sure hope that "a social mission with a bank" wouldn't do that.

I think it's important to remember that your bank is really your customer, not the other way around. I've fired banks for less than that.

Apparently that's what happened to me.    I suppose Compass Bank can do business with whoever they like, but that they'd close my business and personal account without any notice, leaving checks and debits to bounce, is a bit harsh.

I also find it notable that the branch people can just close accounts of people they don't like.

Is that a common practice at banks?

Details are at http://creditsuit.org/credit.p…..ut_notice/

Don't know how I can stay in business without a bank account.
