Over the past few days I have scheduled 27 talks on the common good bank project in 26 towns throughout the Pioneer Valley in December (green), January (yellow) and March (blue). Usually four a week, with two weeks off at year end. Yikes.
It feels right though. I am hoping to average about 15 people per presentation, but the publicity blitz will reach many thousands.
Economic justice has seemed like so distant a dream for so long. But the world looks different this week. I keep seeing, in my mind’s tear-filled eye, our amazing next president and his beautiful family. Anything, it seems, is possible in this new world. We can get there if we try.
